One of the best parts of our job is taking Signature Wines to tastings and seeing your reaction for ourselves. We’ve been all over the UK during the last year, promoting our wonderful wines and opening people’s eyes to the possibility of wines from Macedonian.

Signature Wines have had a pretty stonking year. Not only have we had some great feedback from wine drinkers and suppliers, particularly small wine businesses, but we've also been delighted by the response to Stobi's wines which have won a few awards along the way.

Justin Howard-Sneyd entered the profession in 1991 when he worked as a 'helper' on the International Wine Challenge. In the following 6 years, he worked in a small wine shop, ran wine tasting courses, and briefly worked for Oddbins, before packing his bag and started working on 6 vintages in South Africa, France, Hungary and Romania. .

The vintage is now officially over, but it is still one of the busiest times of the year for the Stobi Winery. At this time the Enologists are calculating what can be made from the new vintage by assessing the quantities of grapes harvested.

Signature Wines, the exclusive UK importers for the Stobi Winery, has announced today that the OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine) has registered the Republic of Macedonia along with a broad range of grape varieties.
