Signature Wines met trade buyers at the Epicurean Event

It has been a busy and exciting month for Signature Wines. Following our success at The Wine Buyers’ Forum early this month, Signature's Business Development Manager, met trade buyers at the Epicurean Event earlier this week.
This year’s event took place at the World-famous, 5 Star Luxury, Gleneagles Hotel, combing a wine tasting event with 50 different food dishes, combing ‘The Best of Scottish Flavours and Fusion’ reflecting this year’s Commonwealth Games and Ryder Cup events. The Epicurean Event is one day event where the most exclusive wines are showcased so we were delighted that all our range of Stobi Wines were selected to be part of this prestigious event.
Suppliers were also invited to the evening celebrations where Wine Importers’ Managing Director, Billy Bell, played his bagpipes dressed in his kilt, in true Scottish style. Wine Importers is a leading independent wine supplier with the most extensive and innovative portfolio of wines available to trade buyers in Scotland. Founded in 1975, Wine Importers select wines to supply Michelin restaurants, hotels, conference centres, large sporting events, bars, cafes and independent wine retailers so it was an ideal event for Signature Wines to attend and showcase the Stobi Winery.
Originally thought as an opportunity to taste wine and food at the same time, the Epicurean Event has become an innovative way of wine tasting where visitors can pick up a glass of wine and then go to talk to chefs to find the perfect food match. Summarising on the event our Signature's Business Development Manager commented “ I was extremely pleased to have the opportunity to present our full range of Macedonia Wines to a wide range of wine buyers at the Epicurean Event. We had a great response from the quality of buyers who attended and I was very proud to have been selected to join some of the best brands in the world.
